Vanessa Hudgens

An American actress and singer Vanessa Anne Hudgens starred in “High School Musical” (2006), “High School Musical 2” (2007) and (2008) “HSM 3: The Senior Years” alongside heartthrob and Tiger Beat poster boy Zac Efron. Vanessa was born in Salinas, California on December 14, 1988, the daughter of Gina and Greg Hudgens. She has a younger sister, Stella Hudgens. Her father is an American of Irish and Native American descent, and her mother, who grew up in Manila, is a Filipino-born of Filipino, Spanish, and Chinese descent. At the peak of her career, Vanessa Hudgens was the envy of virtually every teenage girl across the world.

She made her debut in 2003 appearing in the Hollywood films Thirteen and Thunderbirds, before reaching fame in 2006 after appearing in the Disney Channel film High School Musical hit series. Hudgens began a music career and released her debut album, V, in 2006. Her sophomore album, Identified, was released July 1, 2008.

Last September 6, 2007, controversy came out about Vanessa's nude photos and it was being placed on the net posing on with her lingerie and the other one was totally nude. her publicist claims that the photo was taken privately and it was "unfortunate" that they were released on the Internet. Vanessa actually apologized about the photos that she was embarrassed about it and regretted of doing those photos. But still Patti McTeague (Disney spokesman) indicated that Disney will still be working with Hudgens .
