On how she’s keeping the weight off: “I’m on a raw-food diet. It’s intense. And sort of awful. Yesterday for lunch? Spinach. Just spinach. Spinach and some seeds.”

On moving to NY after four seasons with Big Love: “I sacrificed six years in L. A. I did my job out here. I made the contacts and did the work I had to do. But I came here at eighteen. I’m out of here at twenty-four, and I feel lucky it wasn’t longer.” more of her on esquire magazine.

Hot and Sexy Celebrity Halle Berry is held by Esquire Magazine as the "Sexiest Woman Alive. Esquire magazine gives her in its November issue.

Halle Berry talks about being the sexiest woman alive.

"I don't know exactly what it means, but being 42 and having just had a baby, I think I'll take it," says Berry, who gave birth to her daughter, Nahla, in March. "Sexiness is a state of mind — a comfortable state of being," she says.

"It's about loving yourself in your most unlovable moments." But Berry, who won an Oscar for her role in "Monster's Ball," can't claim the sexiest-woman honor all to herself. "I share this title with every woman, because every woman is a nominee for it at any moment," she says.
